As you are aware, there are many student travel companies that can send you on a trip. ISE offers students an educational explorer approach to travel rather than a tourist approach.

Students on ISE programs experience the language and culture of their destination by exploring language use during their program and for most, by living with families for part of the time abroad. With ISE, students experience their travels abroad as explorers rather than tourists. By speaking the language with native-speakers they access true immersion in the cultures they visit. This opportunity provides diverse and inherently meaningful and lasting experiences.

French

C’est la vie! France and French Switzerland offer diverse and spectacular opportunities to gain deeper understanding of these francophone destinations and people.

German

Wunderbar! ISE programs to Germany provide dialectic and cultural diversity from Berlin to München. Including Austria and or German-speaking Switzerland as part of the experience is also an option for program participants.

ISE also works with many teachers who participate in the German-American Partnership Program (GAPP) and other exchange programs. ISE supports GAPP program participants by coordinating the travel logistics, processing billing and payments, and providing health and trip cancellation insurance and liability insurance coverage. Furthermore, GAPP students qualify for financial aid just like any other ISE program participant.

Mandarin Chinese
