End your Peruvian adventure with a boat ride on the world’s highest navigable lake, Lago Titicaca, and discover the floating islands of the Uros people.

Note: The order of this itinerary is subject to modification based on actual air and/or family stay arrangements.
DAY 1 Lima: Arrival in Lima, transfer to your hotel.
DAY 2 Cusco: Transfer to airport in Lima for flight to Cusco; transfer to your hotel. Spend some time getting to know this magical city nestled in the Andes. (B)
DAY 3 Cusco: Start the day with a morning visit to four archeological sites near Cusco. You’ll begin with Tambomachay and then make stops in Pucapucará, Quenko and finally the religious temple of Saqsayhuamán. (B,L)
DAY 4 Cucso/Valle Sagrado: Take a bus to the ruins of Pisaq followed by a visit to the colonial village of Pisaq. Pass through picturesque villages en route to Ollantaytambo, the oldest Inca village. Stop in Chinchero to visit the market on the way back to Cusco. (B,L)
DAY 5 Cusco/Machu Picchu: Board the train for a magical 4-hour ride along the Urubamba River. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, a bus will take you up to the breathtaking ruins of Machu Picchu. Return to Cusco by train and transfer back to your hotel. (B,L)
DAYS 6-10 Family Stay: Meet your Peruvian host family and begin a 5-night stay with them! (Meals at home)
DAY 11 Puno: Bid farewell to your familia peruana. Travel to Puno and explore Peru’s capital of folklore located on the shores of beautiful Lake Titicaca. (B)
DAY 12 Puno/Isla Uros: Enjoy a boat ride on the world’s highest navigable lake and discover the floating islands of the Uros people and the incredible Isla Taquile. (B,L)
DAY 13 Lima: Return to Lima and spend some time sightseeing in the capital city before settling in at your hotel for the night.
DAY 14 Return: Transfer to airport. Depart for the U.S. (B)

Air travel on Friday, Saturday or Sunday carries a $25/day weekend surcharge. Requests for specific travel dates or airline may incur additional charges.
14-day Guided Program to Peru: Prices are based on a minimum group size of 24 students from combined schools and a minimum teacher/student ratio of 1:8. When minimum group size is not reached, a small-group supplement will apply.
