DAY 1 MERIDA Sunny skies and temperatures in the 80's will greet you in Cancún where you land before traveling to Mérida. Your Spanish use will begin immediately as excited host families wait to welcome you!

DAYS 2-6 MERIDA FAMILY STAY It’s time to try new foods, practice your Spanish and help out with family activities. Visit Ría Celestún, where you will take a boat ride to observe flamingos and take a dip in the refreshing Ojo de Agua. (Meals at home)

DAY 6 RIVIERA MAYA Bid farewell to your Mérida host family and depart for Chichén-Itzá, where you will behold the colossal pyramid of Kulkulkán, recently named one of The New 7 Wonders of the World! You will then stop to cool off at the incredibly beautiful Cenote Ik Kil before going on to the Caribbean coast, also known as the Riviera Maya. (L)

DAY 7 RIVIERA MAYA Enjoy the white sand paradise of the Riviera Maya. Many optional activities await you: swimming, snorkeling and more! Pyramid enthusiasts can visit Tulum and shoppers can visit Playa del Carmen. (B)

DAY 8 RETURN Time for one quick swim before leaving for the airport and your flight home. (B)

Air travel on Friday, Saturday or Sunday carries a $25/day weekend surcharge. Requests for specific travel dates or airline may incur additional charges. Holy Week supplement may apply, add $135.

8-day Self-guided Program: Prices are based on a minimum group size of 24 students from combined schools and a minimum teacher/student ratio of 1:8. When minimum group size is not reached, a small-group supplement will apply.
