"Thank you so much for awarding me financial aid for my trip to Spain. I know it would not be possible without your help!"
"My whole life I have wanted to travel the world, but because money is limited, it has never been possible for me. This money helped me greatly and France was such an amazing experience!"
Many low-income high school students learning a foreign language cannot join their fellow classmates on a life changing ISE program to another country because their family lacks the means to pay for the program. This unfortunate situation means many students cannot experience ISE programs solely because of the income status of their families.
ISE is committed to help! As a nonprofit organization, ISE funds our programs through fees paid by parents and students. Every year ISE also provides ISE-funded financial aid to support many low-income students. Unfortunately, the demand for ISE financial aid always exceeds our ability to provide it.
How Can I Help?
You can help by providing a tax-deductible donation to the ISE Financial Aid Fund. Your generous gift will only be used to provide financial aid to low income students.
How Does ISE Decide Who Receives Financial Aid?
Applications are approved upon receipt of all application materials and aid is based on household income. The Director of Education determines the grant amounts based on the total number of applications we receive and the ISE grant calculator (published here).
